The Netherlands secured a dominant seven-wicket victory over Namibia in their second match of the ICC World Cricket League 2 at the TU International Cricket Ground on Monday. This win followed a previous loss to Nepal.
After winning the toss, Namibia chose to bat but struggled from the outset. They were bowled out for a mere 123 runs in 35.1 overs. Aryan Dutta was the star for the Netherlands, taking an impressive six wickets in his nine-over spell.
In response, Michael Ledditt’s half-century guided the Netherlands to a comfortable victory. They reached 124 for 3 in just 27.2 overs. Gerhard Erasmus claimed all three wickets for Namibia.
This result leaves Nepal, Namibia, and the Netherlands all on two points in the tri-series standings. Nepal leads the table thanks to a superior net run rate. Nepal and Namibia will face off in their next match on Wednesday.
